For businesses where IT became somebody’s second job

The worries owners have before they sign, answered straight.

Open any worry for the straight answer.

Five quick questions, about two minutes. Your price shows up on the spot.

Is this for us?

“We have an old program or office server we can’t lose.”

Keep it if you like. Moving a server’s job onto Microsoft 365 is one part of the Baseline setup, and none of it is a must. We still help with what stays. That help usually goes to a person as a $35 ticket, because the AI only knows the Microsoft 365 setup.

If you do move it, nothing you rely on is switched off until its replacement works and you’ve said yes. That’s the Switch Promise.

What kind of company is Baseline built for?

Small businesses whose technology has become somebody’s second job. Every customer uses Microsoft 365 for email and sign-in, with the license in the price. Some sign up just for that and fast help, and use more of the Baseline setup later. A messy setup today never rules you out.

See what every customer gets →

Do we have to use all of Microsoft 365?

No. You need it for email and sign-in. The rest is your call, and your team can ask for help with anything. Keep your own video call app, your other services, your old computers, or your server.

Here’s the trade. The AI only knows the Microsoft 365 setup, so help with those other tools usually goes to a person as a $35 ticket. The more of the Baseline setup you use, like Teams meetings and files in OneDrive, the more the AI fixes on the spot. At most, we’ll send the odd email about what Microsoft 365 already includes. There’s no deadline, and nobody chases you.

When is Baseline probably not a fit?

Only if your company won’t use Microsoft 365 for email and sign-in. Everything else is a choice with a price. Keeping an old laptop? We still help, usually as a $35 ticket. Need hands on site? We arrange a local contractor, and that visit costs extra.

Who it’s for, and who it isn’t →

We use Google or another email system. Can we still switch?

Yes. Microsoft 365 becomes your email and sign-in, and email, contacts, and calendars move first. Moving data from your old system, including shared files from Google Drive, Dropbox, or your own computers, is a flat $25 per user, plus $0.99 per GB moved.

See how the move works →

Some of our computers are Macs. Does that work?

We haven’t settled how Macs are handled yet. Computers on the Baseline setup run Windows 11 Pro, kept up to date. Other computers still get help. Bring your computer list to the first call. The Computer Readiness Guide shows you how to tell which ones can join.

How computers we look after work →

How big or small can our company be?

There’s no published smallest or largest size yet. The price is set per employee, so it grows or shrinks with your team. Adding a person works the same way for the 10th person as the 50th.

Switching

“Switching will stop our work.”

Why it feels true
You’ve seen a tech change take email down for a day.
What’s true
Your current setup keeps running while we build the new one. Nothing you rely on is turned off until its replacement works.
Proof
The seven-step plan you agree to before you sign.
“Old computers will mean surprise costs.”

You’ll know before you sign. The Computer Readiness Guide shows you how to tell which computers can run Windows 11 Pro and join the Baseline setup. Older ones can stay, and we still help with them. If you replace one, your company buys it, and Baseline sets it up.

The moving charges are published on the switching page.

“We don’t have time for this.”

It’s done for you. You choose which parts of the Baseline setup to use, and when. Each person gives a few minutes to a guided setup. Baseline does the building, moving, and training.

Who does what is listed in full.

How long does the move take?

Email and sign-in come first. After that, there’s no deadline. You add other parts of the Baseline setup when it suits you, or not at all.

See the plan, step by step →

Why build a new setup instead of fixing ours?

Because fixing an old setup in place keeps every odd exception that made it hard to manage. A new, clean Microsoft 365 account is slower to start and much cheaper to run.

Why Baseline starts fresh →

Cost

“Is talking to a person included in the monthly price?”

Why it feels true
Lots of IT plans bundle phone help into the monthly fee.
What’s true
No. The monthly price covers Microsoft 365 and instant AI help, which fixes most everyday problems on the spot. When someone needs a real person, that’s a ticket: $35 flat, however long it takes. You only pay for the tickets you use.

“The $35 tickets will add up.”

Why it feels true
A charge per request sounds like a bill that grows.
What’s true
AI help is in the monthly price. A ticket a person handles is a flat $35, however long it takes, and the more of the Baseline setup you use, the fewer tickets you’ll have.
Proof
Every charge is on the pricing page.
“I don’t want a yearly commitment.”

Most of the work happens up front. Baseline builds a new Microsoft 365 account, moves your people and email onto it, and helps with anything else you choose to move. The term is one year, paid monthly, and the monthly bill stays the same all year.

The Clean Handover Promise: your data stays yours, and if you leave, everything goes to you or your next IT company.

What does Baseline cost each month?

$45 per user per month for each employee who uses a computer. $25 per user per month for each employee who works from a phone. Both prices include Microsoft 365. Annual commitment, paid monthly. So ten computer users and two phone-only employees come to $500 a month.

Estimate your monthly price →

Will Baseline cost less than what we pay now?

Your numbers will be different, so the honest answer starts with your bill. On one real invoice from a local IT company, the fair comparison came out $1,917.32 a month lower on Baseline. That’s room for 54 tickets a month at $35 per ticket before the old bill would win. Bring your bill to the call and we’ll compare it line by line.

See that comparison →

Do we still pay Microsoft for licenses?

No. Microsoft 365 is included in both prices, so you don’t buy it separately. If you drop tools that do the same job, that saving is yours. Keeping them is fine too.

See everything in each plan →

What does the move itself cost?

It’s a one-time cost. If you need data moved from your old system, it’s a flat $25 per user, plus $0.99 per GB of data moved. Baseline estimates how much you have before you sign. That flat price covers the move.

See the moving charges →

What happens to the bill when we hire or someone leaves?

We haven’t published that yet. The price is set per employee, and each person’s price depends on whether they use a computer. A manager can start adding or removing a person from the Manager Portal in Teams.

Getting help

“I’ll get stuck with a bot.”

Why it feels true
You’ve been stuck in a chat window that wouldn’t let you reach a person.
What’s true
The AI gets out of the way fast when something needs a person. We’d rather hand you over too early than too late.
Proof
The 10-Minute Promise: a real person on every ticket within 10 minutes, day or night. How help works →
“You’ll only help with Microsoft.”

Ask about Wi-Fi, printers, or other programs the same way you’d ask for anything else. The AI only knows the Microsoft 365 setup, so a person works on it for a flat $35 per ticket, however long it takes.

It’s in what’s included and what costs extra.

How do our people ask for help?

In a private chat in the Baseline app inside Teams, day or night, where Baseline’s AI assistant helps right away. If Teams is down, they text the Baseline number and follow the same steps. Every request is tracked, so nobody has to explain the problem twice.

How help works →

How fast will we hear back?

The AI assistant replies right away. When a request becomes a ticket, a real person responds within 10 minutes, at any hour. For most ordinary requests, we aim to fix it in 2 to 4 hours, though that’s a target, not a promise. A technician starts working on the cause within 24 hours, and urgent problems still get a phone call.

What each target means →

What happens at night or on the weekend?

The same thing as during the day. The AI assistant helps instantly. When a request becomes a ticket, a real person responds within 10 minutes, and people are available 24 hours a day.

Why it’s built this way →

Can someone come to our office?

Help is remote. When a job needs hands on site, we arrange a local contractor. Arranging the contractor is $35 per ticket.

How remote help works →

Security

What security is set up for us?

Security settings come built in and turned on, so nobody has to install anything. Every computer we look after has protection that watches for viruses and suspicious activity. Email is checked for scam links, harmful attachments, and fake senders. Laptop hard drives are locked, Windows’ built-in network guard stays on, and the Desktop, Documents, and Pictures folders save to OneDrive by themselves. And we watch your Microsoft 365 account for security problems around the clock.

See how security is set up →

Is someone watching for threats overnight?

Yes. Baseline monitors your Microsoft 365 account for security issues 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The security tools run all night too, and the computer protection can act on many threats by itself.

See what runs all night →

What happens if a laptop is lost or stolen?

The hard drive is locked, so someone who steals it can’t just pull the files off. Everyday work files are saved in OneDrive too, and the code that opens the drive is kept in your company’s Microsoft 365 account.

How the locked drive works →

Our insurer or a client asks how we’re set up. Can you answer?

Yes. Baseline can describe exactly how your setup works. If a client, insurer, or industry rule asks for certain settings, we’ll compare those with your setup. Then we explain what matches and what doesn’t. Bring the requirements to the first call.

See how security is set up →

Your data

“If we sign up, we’ll be locked in.”

Why it feels true
Handing your IT to one company sounds hard to undo.
What’s true
Your company owns its data, web address, and email name the whole time.
Proof
The Clean Handover Promise: if you leave, everything goes to you or your next IT company. If you leave later →
Who owns our data?

Your company does, the whole time, along with its web address and its email name.

Who you sign with →

What happens if we leave Baseline?

Everything goes to you or your next IT company. Your email and files stay yours, right where they already live in your company’s Microsoft 365. How leaving fits within the one-year term isn’t published yet.

If you leave later →

What can Baseline see on a company computer?

That depends on your company’s own rules, along with the Baseline standard. So does what applies to personal phones and computers, and what gets kept. If this matters to your company, bring it to the first call.

See how security is set up →

Where do our files live after the move?

Files you keep in OneDrive live in your company’s Microsoft 365, where your team can find them. Shared files stop living on one person’s computer, so someone who leaves doesn’t take company files with them. And a broken laptop becomes an errand instead of a crisis.

How email and files work →

Your employees

“My people will hate asking before they install something.”

On computers we look after, people work normally, but they can’t install new programs or change important settings on their own. When someone needs a program, their manager approves it and gets a one-time code for that computer. The code expires after it’s used. People notice the extra step for about a week. But it’s one of the two reasons help requests drop.

What managers can do →

“My team won’t use a new way to sign in.”

They sign in with their face, fingerprint, or a PIN, on a phone or computer they already have. There’s nothing to make up, remember, or write down. Setup is a guided walk-through on their phone that takes a few minutes, and they’re shown how the first time they use it.

Training Built Into the Work is part of the offer. How sign-in works →

What if someone loses the phone they sign in with?

A manager can reset their sign-in from the Manager Portal. It’s a step the manager can start right away, not a request waiting in line. Then the person sets up their sign-in again with their face, fingerprint, or a PIN.

See the Manager Portal →

What happens if an employee’s computer stops working?

We look after Windows and Microsoft 365, and we’ll help you choose and set up a replacement computer. The new one gets set up the same way, and their work is still waiting in the company’s Microsoft 365.

Physical equipment and help →

What does a new hire go through?

A guided setup before day one. A manager fills in a short form in the Manager Portal with a name, how the person works, and a mobile number. The portal can start setting up their account in less than 30 seconds. The new person gets a text, sets up their sign-in, and signs in to a company computer.
