The price is lower than coverage-style per-device support because the setup is standardized, routine work is automated, and Baseline uses the Microsoft capabilities you already pay for instead of adding more products. That is a structural difference, not a discount, and it does not mean you will never need support.

The standard behind the price

The predictable price depends on a consistent setup.

Baseline can charge by employee because every customer uses the same basic setup. Fewer one-off tools and one-off computer settings make the work more predictable.

Employees sign in without normal passwords, using a face, fingerprint, or device PIN. Microsoft provides this through Entra, Windows Hello, and passkeys, and we train everyone through the change.
Supported company computers must run Windows 11 Pro, version 24H2 or later, and connect to Baseline. Baseline checks every computer before you sign, so replacements can be planned.
Employees need approval before installing software that changes protected settings. A manager creates a temporary installation password for that computer, and it expires after use.
Baseline manages the master Microsoft settings while you are a customer. Your company keeps ownership of its data, and the master access transfers when service ends.

Your data stays yours throughout.
Every customer starts with a new, clean Microsoft 365 setup, then people and data move in stages.
Duplicate tools are removed after the new setup is ready, on a timeline you agree to.
By month six, at least eight out of every ten employees, computers, and important work systems should be using the Baseline setup. Anything remaining must have a dated plan to move, and the move finishes within twelve months.

How the service works

Before you decide

The questions that actually decide this.

Why is there an annual commitment?

Baseline builds a new Microsoft setup, moves your people and data onto it, and retires what you no longer need. That work happens at the start and the standard only pays off once the setup is actually aligned. The term is annual, paid monthly.

Is the Microsoft license really included?

Yes. Microsoft 365 Business Premium is included in the Desktop User price and Microsoft 365 F3 is included in the Mobile User price. You do not buy licensing separately.

What if an employee does not use a computer?

That is the Mobile User plan, at $25 per user per month. Phone and tablet work in the managed Microsoft setup, and the person is included in the company’s Manager Portal.

What does migration cost?

Email, contacts, and calendar migration is included with a new annual subscription. Moving shared company files is $0.99 per GB. Manual folder mapping, deciding who can open or change which folders, and unusual logistics are $95 per hour in 15-minute increments. The migration page explains the stages.

What is not covered by the subscription?

The monthly price covers the managed Microsoft setup and the company computers connected to Baseline. Anything else, office wifi, a printer, a scanner, a third-party program, is not included, but it is not turned away either. Baseline support will take it on and bill the time at $95 per hour, in 15-minute increments. The support scope page publishes the hours, the targets, and the two things Baseline does not sell.
