Businesses run on Baseline.

You were never supposed to be the IT person.

Baseline gives you a guided way to hire people, remove access, see company computers, recover sign-in, and get help, without turning you into a Microsoft administrator.

What it looks like

This is the screen you would actually use.

The Baseline Manager Portal open inside Microsoft Teams, pinned in the left app rail. The Employees screen for a fictional 15-person company shows a summary row of 15 total active employees, 13 desktop employees, and 2 mobile employees. Below it a table lists each employee with their work email, status, role, desktop or mobile type, and whether their passkey is enabled. A notice above the summary says when employees were last synced from Microsoft.
The Baseline Manager Portal shows the people and computers in your setup and guides the jobs that usually become email chains, spreadsheets, or urgent calls. It opens inside Teams, where you already are. Fictional company data.

Who works here

Every employee, whether they use a computer or a phone-only plan, and whether their password-free sign-in is ready. The question you could never answer quickly before.

What they use

Every company computer, its serial number, and who last signed in to it.

What you can start

Hiring, removal, a passkey reset, a group, or a temporary administrator password for an approved install.

The three jobs

Almost everything you get asked is one of three things.

A person starts

You were told on Thursday that the new person starts Monday. In the portal it is a form: a name, whether the person uses a computer, and a mobile number. Baseline does the Microsoft work, and you can follow onboarding through to completion.

Something changes

See the computer and who last used it. Reset a passkey when someone loses access. Create a group when you need one. When an approved installation needs permission to install software or change protected settings, issue a temporary password for that computer, which expires.

A person leaves

Remove them in one place, on the day it should happen. The portal can start access shutdown in less than 30 seconds, and you can follow offboarding through to completion instead of wondering three weeks later.

Monday, on the standard

The ordinary things become things you can simply do.

Not a faster way to file a request. The request stops being necessary, because the work moves to you and the system does the Microsoft part.

What your company decides

  • Who joins and leaves, and what job access each person needs
  • Whether a software installation is approved
  • When something needs Baseline’s help
  • When a duplicate tool can be retired

What Baseline handles

  • Administering the Microsoft setup during service
  • Configuring and enrolling company computers to the standard
  • Completing the Microsoft work behind every action you start
  • Remote support through one published process

Build the case for your owner

The summary to put in front of whoever signs.

Everything below is on this page on purpose, so you can print it or send the link without writing anything yourself.

Baseline, summarized for a decision

  • The problem. Too many different logins, computers, apps, and workarounds. The same problems return because every setup is different.
  • The change. Baseline moves us to one Microsoft 365 setup and manages it for us.
  • What employees notice. One company sign-in, the same computer setup, one place for files, and one place to ask for help.
  • What managers get. One portal to add people, remove access, see computers, reset sign-in, approve software installation, and ask for support.
  • Security included. Microsoft Defender computer and email protection, BitLocker drive encryption, web filtering, managed Windows Firewall settings, and automatic OneDrive protection for Desktop, Documents, and Pictures on supported computers.
  • What the company agrees to. Replace computers that are too old. Stop using duplicate tools once the replacement is ready. Let Baseline manage the master Microsoft settings during service.
  • What it costs. $45 per month for an employee who uses a computer, with the Microsoft 365 Business Premium license included. $25 per month for an employee who works only from a phone, with the Microsoft 365 F3 license included. Annual commitment, paid monthly. Work not included in the monthly plan is $95 per hour, billed in 15-minute increments. Not included does not mean not available: the same desk will take on almost any technical problem your business runs into.
  • How support works. Help starts inside Teams and is delivered remotely during published business hours. Exact hours and response targets are on the Support and What’s Included page.
  • What I stop owning. Improvised account creation, chasing access removal, and being the person everyone asks about technology.
  • The next step. A 30-minute working conversation that maps how your company works today, the required changes, and the migration path.

Practical questions

The things you would actually get asked.

Who approves installing software or changing protected settings?

You do. Employees can work normally, but installing certain programs needs approval. When an approved installation genuinely needs permission to install software or change protected settings, you issue a temporary local administrator password for that specific computer, and it expires. Installing software becomes a deliberate act with a defined path.

What happens when someone loses access to their passkey?

You reset the passkey from the Manager Portal. Access is consistent, recoverable, and harder to compromise, and recovery is something you can start rather than a request that waits in a queue.

What happens if a laptop physically fails?

Baseline supports Windows and the managed Microsoft setup, not the physical computer hardware. A compatible replacement is connected to Baseline and set up the same way, and company work stays in the company’s Microsoft 365 storage rather than only on the machine that failed.

Can we keep a required legacy application?

Bring any required legacy application, local server, scanner, or specialized workflow to the first conversation. Baseline will map whether it can operate within the standard, needs a transition plan, or requires a different support model. Raise it on the first call, because it is cheaper to find out then.

What does the company receive if it leaves Baseline?

Your data stays yours. Baseline transfers master access cleanly when the relationship ends.

What happens outside published support hours?

Support runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time. Requests sent after hours are picked up at the next business opening. The complete details are on the support scope page.

The next step

Bring the person who signs.

A 30-minute conversation that maps how your week actually runs, what the standard would require, and whether it fits.

In 30 minutes, we will map how your company works today, show what Baseline would change, and outline the clearest path forward.
